More Into the Ideas About Our Editions
As I've mentioned before, we had to think about our magazine and what we'll do for the first few days of the project. We were still thinking of how we were going to make the four editions and have them still relate to one another. We had a few ideas to do it on things relating to college and have it in themes for each individual editios. We then thought deeper into what college is and how it works, and how we can make a magazine to work around the college schedule. So students are now beginning college and at the end of the semester, they may have finished a class or just ended half the term. Everyone around certain times of the year takes a test, so we thought that could be one of the many things we can talk about, to give advise on test taking tips. After this main thought, it occurred to us that we can do our edition on something according to the seasons in college.
Now like the picture for example, we all have our magazines focusing on the different seasons and what happens in that time frame for college students, whether it may be beauty tips to keep you refreshed in the winter, or advise on test-taking skills for finals in the spring and summer. That way it splits up the chance that we get overlapping stories and we can focus on those certain stories as a main article. Going into depth, mine will cover what happens in the spring, most college students are going to be graduating soon, and it is a great time to be studying so you can ace your test and graduate. Not only focusing on those types of students, but I can talk about how it is going into a career soon and how you should prepare to be fully aware of how it is going to be, and maybe add in some advice from previous graduates. Also, I can focus on freshmen and give them the in's and out on how to survive in these times and still stay in fashion at the same time. So this is how we'll be doing it and everyone in the group will have a different topic and be unique to their own time frame.
